@Richard_Littler I mean, there's always stuff from 30+ years ago that'll resonate with the young'ns. I'd be surprised to see a kid unironically being really into, like, Kenny G. But I see kids now enjoying 90s grunge/punk/alt-rock as more akin to my being into 60s/70s rock and psychedelic stuff as a kid in the 90s/00s.

@gamingonlinux Agreed. I mean, if the dev wants you to play with limited saves, then fine. You get to choose whether that's your jam.

But if the devs put in arbitrary save slots, who cares? It's like crapping on people for playing on easy difficulty or, god forbid, Story Mode.

Not your playthrough, not your problem.

I've been packing my wife lunch on occasion and started putting in little notes, usually involving some kind of food pun.

Things *may* be getting out of hand...

A photo I took a few years back of a single, lonely peak visible across a large Antarctic ice sheet.

Between the sheer amount of light messing with my camera's white balance, and the coating on the aircraft windows, the colors got messed up a bit. But it kinda ended up giving it some vintage flair by accident, so eh?

@ActionRetro G3 shenanigans afoot?

@leemadgwick Lovely composition, lovely feel.

Excellent work!

The Additional Drivers tool in Ubuntu would have them. I can't personally vouch for Wayland either (I'm on AMD GPUs these days), however as of I wanna say a year ago, they enabled GBM support in the closed-source driver to allow Wayland to work.

@ChrisShort I've been back and forth with KDE since the 3.5 days. Left after 4.x, came back once Plasma 5 got stabilized and have been pretty happy with it in the past couple years.

Wayland really isn't quite *there* yet IMO (weird, weird bugs here and there, Zoom screensharing still doesn't work quite right), but they seem to be working on the Wayland session heavily for Plasma 6. Running on X11, it's been solid for me.

Happy Thursday - here's some more art! This one is probably my favorite from this series (a bunch of surrealist stuff I did back in ~2016) - meditations on life, death, and permanence.

Never really posted much of my art to my socials, but I was going through my older stuff after moving and may start regularly dropping art on here.
