Product Manager, dog fan, socialist (not in that order).

This is why buying direct from musicians is so important. It matters to them and it goes direct to them. It’s also why the algorithm in streaming services can be a good idea! This is Matt Carmichael’s ‘Dancing with embers’. He’s a really top saxophonist blending Scottish #folkmusic and #Jazz. Well worth a listen and a purchase if you like it! #supportartists

(As an aside - the delay was about 5 working days to receive it…he’s too nice!)

Lessons any government, local or national, could learn from.

Quite a phenomenal campaign ad from the Greens down in England. Strong. I firmly believe that any political party not running this same message will fail.
Here’s an idea, let’s all stop calling him “the world’s most powerful man” he believes it enough already without British newspapers spouting this nonsense. World’s worst fake tan wearer. World’s weirdest hairdo. World’s most public tantrum in a tie. #tangerinetyrant

Little side project I’ve been involved with. It’s been great making these puppets in my spare time with whatever materials I can find around the house (plus quite a lot of glue!) #Crafting #reuse #recycle #theatre

Good to see the national papers offering advice on how people rich enough to just up sticks and leave the country can continue to avoid tax even after they so patriotically jump ship. (MASSIVE dose or sarcasm, just for the avoidance of any doubt…)

Arseholes. How is this legal or responsible reporting? #TaxAvoidance #TaxTheRich

Well, well, well.... Nigel Farage uses a personal services firm in a common if often criticised 'tax planning' approach to (legally) reduce his tax bill.

Once again Farage is showing that despite his man of the people approach he's a lot more like the establishment figures he criticises... but, while this features in the Guardian, my guess is unlike Angela Rayner's, Farage's tax affairs will garner little interest or traction in the Right media.

Nigel Farage uses private company to pay less tax on GB News earnings

Exclusive: Reform leader’s use of personal services firm is a practice criticised across the political spectrum

The Guardian

When you read the conclusions of Sir Laure Magnus' investigation into Angela Rayner's miss-payment of taxation, it is even more obvious that while it was her choice to resign, this really was a storm in a teacup, and hence really is (as I said earlier) the sad case of a working-class woman being hounded out of office for an issue that would have been down-played should she have been an entitled male member of the political class!
