For 15 years we’ve been lectured by billionaires how we should all embrace risk and dare to be successful. Within a year that money became expensive (interest rates above 0) they are all retreating, firing 250k+ people in less than 1 year, folding back on the most “safe” investments. The year of efficiency and other bullshit like that. AKA we are now witnessing how much risk adverse the rich of the world really are. At some point it will be over and the mantra will start again: take risk, overinvest, dare, move fast, break things. A pile of steaming crap. Let’s try to remember: the next time you hear about how daring and hopeful you need to be... they’re just telling you: please give us everything you have, so we (the billionaires) can feel a bit safer #layoffs #billionaires
