I totally disagree with the people who think quote-posting is bad and engenders meanness. It’s awesome.
Holy cow, I didn’t realize it’s been *more than a year* since I posted on this thing. https://mastodon.online/@benzado/109649982824974282

#ADHD is having problems everybody has, except you’re having them all the time, and the solutions that work for most people don’t work for you.

@joeygibson I've heard people use that for years in the Business World™, same as “ask” as a noun… it was inevitable that it would creep onto TV. 😞
Years ago I was probably too much of a fanboy to work at Apple. Now I’m jaded, I’d probably be a better employee. (Assuming they would hire me, of course.)
@jefflopes ew, why?
I don’t believe for one moment they make the iPad Pro on a hydraulic press like that #appleevent

If someone you're with is wearing a mask, don't ask if they want you to wear one, too. Just put one on.

Masks have become contentious and it's really uncomfortable to be on the side of asking someone to mask. Don't put someone in the position of feeling like they have to give you their personal health history to rationalize their request. Just put a fucking mask on.

@jcreed Let’s see it running in Gaming Mode, you coward!

Come to think of it, I bet you could get pretty far binding left and right triggers to C-c and M-x…

@Lilith So, “better” depends on what’s important to you; if you’re concerned about graphics quality on new games then a new PC is always going to be best. But the Steam Deck is a great piece of hardware, it runs most of my library with ease, and even if Steam Deck 2 comes out in January (it isn’t) I wouldn’t be in a rush to replace mine.
