I have a PWA frontend that needs to work with no network access sometimes. I have a backend that provides auth tokens as http-only cookies.
If a user tries to log out while not connected to the network, there's no way to clear those cookies, right? I'd have to wait until the next time I had network and then ask my server to log me out.
In general, I find Neyyah’s aesthetic charmingly retro. The dithered graphics, the icon cursors, the unreadable text.
But the fact that loading a game from the home screen also lets you save over an existing save, creating a save that just loads you to the main menu with zero progress…. Is really frustrating. It would be a cute quirk if it wasn’t for the nonsense of save slots meaning I now save my game twice just to make sure I don’t lose progress again.
You might be wondering why I, a not-IT person, am spending time doing this instead of handing our IT guy a few scripts to run on our existing, physical server.
As it turns out, this is faster and less painful.
I genuinely hate doing IT things. I'm moving a project into production on a virtual server, and it's just a slog. Things are even worse thanks to the absolute slop that's available in lieu of stack exchange.
And I forgot to take my meds today, so I'm fighting my ability to focus as well.

My partner got 0.004, I got 0.0033. I feel like the screen you use is pretty important, though, and if I were to go upstairs and use my desktop monitor, I bet I'd get a worse score than I did on my macbook with a better screen.
@IceCubesApp do you know that the app has really bad video unmuting behaviors? Videos out of sight on my timeline randomly unmute. In full screen video, rotating my phone unmutes and plays the video, even if it was muted and/or paused before.
I just got a full-volume war footage clip blasted in my ear from someone I hadn’t yet blocked on my federated feed. This isn’t ok.
