Today is Nora’s 5th (adoption) birthday (I think she’s 9 in total)! I found her at a shelter in Colorado and she’s been by my side since. Got her right before covid hit so she’s sort of a covid pet. She definitely helped me through it.
Climbed mountains, swam rivers, and chilled with her. #pets #dog

Gunna call today a win. My first “attempt” at CW but really just ended up setting up my radio for it, listening to calls I sometimes understood @ ~15wpm, and trying not to freeze in the 40F weather. Def different listening to real calls. Not the same as practice apps/sites.

Regardless, it was fun despite the cold! Wish I had an indoor shack 😅🥲
