Next time any old grump lectures you about how hard they worked and could buy a house, a car, raise a family, but never blew it on Netflix and avocados...?

Just pressure them to tell you roughly what their salary was in what year, put it into the calculator and show them the result, then tell them how much you earn today.

I would expect we'd all be doing just fine ourselves if we were as handsomely paid as them!
