Just spent the last 3 minutes wrapping my head around the Segata Sanshiro thing and how it only sounds like Sega Saturn if he's called SegaSA Tanshiro. Somehow two syllables got swapped, nobody noticed and it still works.

good morning please employ me.

Rent in Portsmouth is still relatively affordable I see. Great little city, that.
Made a proper ragu with the carrot, celery and onion sofritto. Bit of garlic, bit of basil, chopped tomatoes and passata and some beef stock. Fukken ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ‘Œ #food #pasta #ragu
I know it's probably not this simple, but I wonder if a law that simply caps profit margins, bans using AI primarily to maximise them, and enforces re-investing a portion of profit into the relevant product, services and staff wages would solve all our problems? I can't see how any legitimate business would be made impossible. On paper it might break the artificial facade of economic strength, but it forces businesses to offer a fair deal to consumers, and allows staff to share in its success.

I find myself a little impatient with this Fediverse concept. Like can everyone just get on it now pls so I can sort myself out? I don't like these long drawn transitions. xD
Blimey, it's all happening on my end all of a sudden. Anyone I know going to Develop in Brighton on Thursday? #DevelopBrighton

If an employee's unique qualities, strengths, quirks, diversity, perspectives, values and even their struggles are a factor to a company when they decide who to offer a job to in the first place, they should continue to be a factor throughout their employment.

In short...

Ban employee surveillance software.

I know the UK has left the EU, but they're still a regulatory superpower. It's their law to standardise USB-C cables across all devices (including iPhones) that has caused it to happen more or less everywhere else anyway.
