Entrepreneur, travelling motorcyclist 🇵🇱🇧🇪🌻🇪🇺🌍

From Assembler, BPMN/BPEL, SIP, up to XML, YAML and Zend. Old enough to have used printed books & carbureted cars, 6502 & 68000 processors, magnetic tape drives, BBS networks and MOD & MIDI music. Yet still young enough, I hope!

In my forties and switching to beautiful, #math world of #bigData, #dataScience & #dataVis, after years of swampy #IT.

Visiting 🐘 from the flocky 🐦 birdsite. And liking it here so much, that I stayed!

LOL. True, true…

@Sbravadour late reply 💌 as difficult time here. I know You've raised teenage / early 20's kids, so you fell the anxiety about their safety, when they leave the house permanently

You also surely know the treadmill at the daily job, to be able 2 afford their "I need for this, I need for that" expenses. So much more than their early teens pocket money.. Especially that my daughter is into horses & fishkeeping

Saw the filters video, LOL. Humans're empty, only looks matter. But this is how we are😉

This is the most #Japan.ese thing You will see today, guaranteed 😉

Stereotypes, but can be fun:

@ChamomileHangover A Pure Formality (“ Una pura formalità”), the 1994 #movie by
Giuseppe Tornatore, with Roman #Polanski and Gérard #Depardieu.

Surprising, touching. A bit of “The Sixth Sense” with Willis, or “The Others” with Kidman, before it became fashionable. Also worth watching, as it is one of last Depardieu’s #film roles, before he went nuts and made a damned Snowden out of himself🤢

Making a Tiny Mac From a Raspberry Pi Zero

Making a Tiny Mac From a Raspberry Pi Zero: Years ago I saw that John Leake built a 1/3 scale Macintosh. He made his before cheap 3d printers were everywhere. His was made from scratch from sheets of PVC, sanded and painted. He needed custom cables as well as solder work on the Pi. I was so e…

@Sbravadour Scared & confused, good word choice for me too (and a good alt. title for a Led Zeppelin song!). Wish You all the best. I know U are in the UK. My father & uncle both live there, but I cannot travel now. I will be in 🇹🇩 in the summer, we’ll see..

For #LeSabre, it’s #CWM’s Scott fault, as he & Dean always said they’re built as tanks. Yes, but restoring an old #landYacht is an undertaking. Even if mine was in OK shape. Did it for kids.. This is what will remain of me. Cheers!

@Sbravadour Tks for heads up😇 Nice 2 see You here, finally! Hoping all’s OK

Taking a break from CWM (although still love them, putting a like under every video). Got enough problems with my cars - the vintage, 30 yrs old 🇨🇦 Buick LeSabre, that I refurbish for the last few years (over 12k $..) & Seat Toledo IV, bought new 6 yrs ago. Temporarily lost interest in watching other peoples’ struggles with cars😉

Real timekiller is family. Teenage kids issues, marriage. Life overwhelms. Cheers!

Great article about #AI, from Alexander Hanff, a leading privacy technologist, who helped develop Europe's #GDPR and #EU #privacy / #ePrivacy rules.

A must read not only for Stanley #Kubrick & Ridley Scott #SF #movies fans, as well as Isaac #Asimov.s readers, both quoted there extensively:

Why ChatGPT should be considered a malevolent AI – and be destroyed

It not only told everyone I died but tried to fake my obit. Are we ready for this machine-driven future?
