But what is the actual PROBLEM with Mastodon?? Said one hundred dozen people over several months of threads here. So I wrote it up.

Hi friends. Life got pretty crazy for me once I accepted a new position as a Technical Product Manager at Bloomberg, working in AI/ML infrastructure. I’m traveling into NYC three days a week for work.

I’ve created a Threads account and am excited to have some major players with major money getting behind ActivityPub. I’m curious about the sentiment here, have done a little poking around. Seems negative. Regardless, like Mastadon’s creator, I think it’s a good thing and I’m optimistic.

HELP! I have an interview I’m really excited about for a Technical Product Manager on a ML project.

Need suggestions for quiz questions.

I have Big Data experience as it relates to observability, TSDBs, log aggregation/tracing, AWS and Python that I think translates but would love to move into AI/ML.

My Python is good but they mention Jupyter, PyTorch and Pandas.

Any ideas for learning excercises would be appreciated. Thanks!

@pvolo hey thanks for the idea. I’ve been looking for a wiki I like but haven’t found one that meets all my requirements. I want one that allows public access and use of my own domain. None seem to have this, including notion.

@ozlubling Hey thanks for asking! I'm open to either an individual contributor or leadership role in Product Management, preferably with a company developing or consulting on consumer facing technology products. I'm not opposed to B2B, API Product work etc. but I've been doing a lot of that and would love to spend more time closer to end-users, working with designers, UX researchers etc.
