Weekend reading:

The combination of a deep-seated mythology of American exceptionalism, progress gospel, (willful) historical ignorance, and a lack of political imagination has created a situation in which a lot of people simply refuse to take the Trumpist threat seriously.

It Could Definitely Happen Here

Many Americans struggle to accept that democracy is young, fragile, and could actually collapse – a lack of imagination that dangerously blunts the response to the Trumpist Right

@blackknight95857669 have you tried looking at optimized settings or limiting the TDP?
@antnisp I’m basically only buying Steam games
@alexisbushnell That sucks! If it’s session 1, I’d probably reschedule. Otherwise you can probably remove an enemy to lower the CR rating enough. D&D Beyond also has an encounter feature that lets you see how deadly an encounter will be against a group of PCs or average PCs of a particular level.
@chriscochrun that’s how I started. Our group would play 9pm-1am after kids were asleep on a weekend night. It was super fun.
@chriscochrun You’ll get there. Children will grow older and less time consuming. You’ll start to find time in new places (e.g. building your D&D character while waiting at soccer practice). Hope that helps.
@itnewsbot didn’t HP already try this with printers?
@Morishima @mozilla Anyone care to share thoughts on LibreWolf?
@SpaceLifeForm @TechDesk @FastCompany @AI There are already robotic lawnmowers. I don’t think AI is required for that task.
@tewha I honestly think you can try DMing without it. If you decide you like it enough to get the included content for $30, great.
