@Vivaldi I'm on it and using it and it was specifically for my spouse :) . But I wanted to test it out first.
Adding Proton VPN was a plus. I don't need it & Utah's banning VPNs as of June 2026 - expected. I like Proton a lot so it acted as another endorsement (for me).

Orban/Hungary had a "white Christian Nationalist" nation. Orban went to several CPACs. It worked for 16 yrs.
Goal is authoritarianism with one race (white)/one religion for the people, not the oligarchs (most or all seem to pretend). Makes it easier to take over a country.
"under God" was added to pledge during McCarthyism ('54).
@samlitzinger If you don't have many millions, we're all paying it. It's why I read up on what dictators are circa 2017. Started with hitler even though folks will deny there are differences ... there are but the plot's the same. Enter fascism to spread the lies. We can only have one religion (living in authoritarianism) and they're using the one with those who don't want to think for themselves. I'm just repeating what I've read and remembered.

@stux Since Vought told the GOP in 2010 not to elect leaders (the quote and source are out there will add if requested), the toddlers are all there in congress following in the footsteps of their higher-up toddlers.

@zackwhittaker I can't imagine growing up in this w/a morally corrupt regime doing whatever they want.
I watched two young women who lived across the street from me try finding jobs (Cornell and Chapel Hill). Dad's from India and their mom is from the states so bigotry and racism reigns. Both are unbelieveably gorgeous (they were adorable little girls, too).
Never imagined this much evil flooding the world. Memories of protests and campaign volunteering haunt me.
@adhd_coffee I understand and this was going on 50+ years ago. But kids mostly were over or misdiagnosed and they were put on Ritalin (it was a big issue as to how effective it was and if it should be used for ADHD). I remember the conversation (not with me) when we were going to Vermont for vacation.
