@JosephLeedy you act like you’ve never seen a goat person celebrating winning a wrestling belt before
Hey Ben, what’d you do after #Longhornphp?
I do expect PHP's popularity to really explode over the next few months. Since it uses `include` and `require` it won't be subject to any `import` tariffs.
Sometimes #VSCode’s syntax auto detection blows my mind. My file literally starts with `SELECT` and VSCode’s like “looks like Ruby to me!”

3. While conservatives protested the 8% Black students at Harvard, Legacy Admissions accounted for 43% of white students to Harvard, & 75% of those students Would Not Have Qualified On Merit.

But no protest? I wonder why?🤔

The facts don't lie. The movement to repeal Affirmative Action, ban DEI (as dozens of states have), & demonize CRT—was never about merit & was never about qualifications. It was always about reviving Jim Crow white supremacy.

And the scary part is—so far—it's working.

You’ve got to feel for the UX designers at social media sites. Like, they clearly have data showing users do NOT like features but then product owners are adamant that things cannot be disabled, just:

I made a browser extension that changes the word “billionaire” to “oligarch” and, well, it’s about as perfect as I was hoping.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/billionaire-oligarch-replacer/
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/billionaire-to-oligarch-r/ealafelnipmdnebociefhhkgoocplidj

Billionaire-to-oligarch replacer – Get this Extension for 🦊 Firefox (en-US)

Download Billionaire-to-oligarch replacer for Firefox. Replaces all instances of “billionaire” with “oligarch”.

Want: adblock, but for websites that use generative AI for their content.
@beausimensen @MonaApp the impression I got before installing Mona was that core functionality was free but more specialized features cost extra which seemed reasonable for getting familiar with things. I just also feel like boosts and stars should be considered core functions
