The spark plugs came out nice and easy at 15,500 miles and that is twice the interval listed in the service manual
2025-07-04 : 15,522 mi Spark Plugs
- Spark plugs replaced ✅
- Chain oiled ✅
- Oil sight glass level ✅
- Coolant level ✅
- Tire pressure ✅
I haven't been riding much in the past two months and figured I'd use the down time today to replace the spark plugs on the Zed. At first I was cursing the number four location and then I got stoked when I remembered I had the 90 degree gearless socket adapter and it actually worked to get the plug loose but then I was back to cursing again in actually getting the plug out... total emotional rollercoaster
I did the thing and rode the mountain ride with the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride to advocate for prostate cancer and men's mental health.
The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride
On Sunday the 18th May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
I got a One Eyed Willie bike trailer thing to drag my bike up to the mountains. This year I'm doing the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride up in a small mountain town not too far from home and got here a day early for the win!

Even cleaned the exhaust headers with light oil -𝓕𝓪𝓷𝓬𝔂
✅ Oiled Chain

✅ Topped off front tire 2psi _36psi
✅ Rear tire ok _42psi

I just found out that Itchy Boots canceled her upcoming US book tour for fear of being detained on account of her social media. I hate this timeline and the Idiocracy we are all facing. But as a tiny saving grace, I was able to preorder her book in solidarity nonetheless.
