@stroughtonsmith this is a silly exercise but for fun, I priced out a base Mac mini with 2 studio displays. $4.2k. That’s without keyboard and mouse.
Could a vision pro replace that setup? I don’t know but if it could, it would be very compelling.
@kk they’re pretty great. I think they’re my favorite apple gadget of recent, maybe all, time. I use them for hours every day between work and general audio listening.
They’re even my workout headphones. I’ve tried some dedicated workout headphones like the beats fit pro and shokz but the AirPods Pro are just better.
@mrkn @jamesthomson same as any live music performance these days. Like they’re just watching the show through their phone’s screen. And will likely never actually watch the recording again.
@stroughtonsmith what are you planning on replacing it with? I wish they’d dispense with the watch part and just put out a fitness tracker.
@Bryson some thing has happened lately with the junk mail filter for me. It’s putting all sorts of stuff into junk that clearly isn’t. I’m not sure what happened or how to fix it.
@ismh I’ve gotten that notification while the AirPods are both literally in my ears. And Siri announces the notification through them. 🤦🏽♂️
