Now Reading:So many datasheets and technical reference manuals

@grishka @rafial @escarpment To that end, they can be useful as rubber ducks that won't get annoyed when you're trying to think through something. Occasionally they'll highlight a brain fart or something your eyes keep missing after reading something for too long.

If I was paying for this, I would run one of the small models at home. Actually paying for tokens can rack up eye-watering cost very quickly.

@radicalabacus I can modify the kernel and userspace as is necessary, I'm not worried too much about the software so long as it works.

If it isn't entirely clear, yes, this is an example of a particular group of people explicitly condoning destruction. This is not actually a form of hypocrisy as nobody has claimed to be in favour of protections for private property.
@serge Have you seen any discussions on using LLMs as an accessibility technology? There are a few big ethical problems and I've seen some people say they have big QoL improvements from it's use.
@ravirockks @ai6yr also, you're not working class, so quit pretending to speak for any of us.

@tailscale Hi, I'm part of a FOSS team that uses Codeberg instead of Github for our organization. I'm currently self-hosting headscale and I plan to use it to help provide affordable access to hardware development resources for our devs and CI.

I suppose this is to say that if you have another target for your FOSS deal, we'd love for it to be Codeberg :)

@knapjack @GossiTheDog LLMs will always suck at concise code, whether it's in embedded programming or functional programming. Not enough data to train on.
@evan Are you aware of any not-for-profit domain registrars in Canada?
@ShrikeTron @GossiTheDog You've also boosted posts that are in direct conflict with what you've stated here, why the inconsistency?
@fox84 @ErikUden He mentioned he paid for services in previous comments.
