Ever notice how forgiving loans is suddenly a big problem when students get much-needed relief, but nobody blinks an eye when the richest 20% of American households get their PPP loans forgiven? Or when corporations are handed billions in subsidies?

We've all had a day or two to process what the Supreme Court just did.

The battle for our country and for the rule of law, not of oligarchs, lies ahead of us. Let us recommit to it now, and with grave determination resolve to turn this tide back in 2024.

I am ready. Are you?

It still takes a while before Meta(P92) joins the Fediverse and the recent times we have read a lot of things from both sides

Polls are not super reliable but maybe it will give a better overall picture of what you, the people using these platforms want

The result will not be the definite outcome for us but I do take it into heavy consider because I love you all very much!

And our results (along with our international colleagues) have dropped!

Our team (and others) have started to see the strongest evidence as yet of the stochastic gravitational wave background - ripples in space-time cause by ALL the supermassive black holes in the history of the Universe colliding!

We use pulsars to study these riplles and we needed almost 20 years of data to even get the first hints! It's the long game!

I'm a co-author on the Aussie papers (as part of my work) but I also wrote about it here in my latest feature article on #SpaceAustralia

This is why I have been going on about pulsars for a few weeks now - this was coming!

Australian Scientists Help Uncover Cosmic Gravitational Rumblings | Spaceaustralia

Australian astronomers, using CSIROโ€™s Parkes radio telescope, have today announced the best evidence yet of the stochastic gravitational wave background, opening up a new chapter into gravitational wave astronomy. As the fourth and final instalment of this series, we spoke with the two scientists leading the Australian papers in this exciting discovery.

I just released a really important Apollo update that adds the ability for users with remaining subscription time left to decline an automatic refund. Devs pay refunds out of pocket, and this will be about $250K, so I thank you for your consideration. โค๏ธ

Also, this update includes an amazing "Goodbye Apollo Wallpaper Setโ€ for your phone, tablet, or desktop, created by outrageously talented Apollo icon designers. You can unlock the pack with a donation that helps with refund costs. ๐Ÿ™‚

Sit up straight. Turn your attention toward your breathing. Is it shallow? Are you breathing from the top part of your chest?

Take a couple of minutes to get those lungs moving. Breathe in for four counts and out for six. Make sure you breathe from your abdomen. Really pull that breath in then let it out with a sigh. Let those shoulders drop with the exhale.

After that, stretch, move around a bit, and get the blood flowing.

Feel better? Carry on ๐Ÿ˜‰

Do yโ€™all think about how the desert city of Dubai, which is hosting the next United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28), has a huge indoor ski facility that has a lodge that uses gas heaters to keep guests warm?
