That's absolutely sad to read. The CEO of @mullvadnet is not only financing the far-right Swedish Örebro party, but he even is their main financer. 70+% of their money is his donation. He is the reason why they go nationwide this year.
For obvious reasons i cease to trust this service. Also i do not finance parties that aim for forced deportations.

This brings out super starkly how #ClimateChange has accelerated so much more quickly than we thought even just 12 years ago.
I have a lot to say about this but I don't really know how to express it. It might end up being a long thread. 🧵
TLDR:
- The future of video games is indie.
- Buying games is a political act.
And the specific thing competition does to your brain, once you know about it, is hard to unsee.
We literally *stop being able to fluently access empathy* when our cognition is pointed at grouping the world into opposing sides. The more we see people as not as the complex individuals they are but as a flattened part of a rival group, the stronger these effects. The more we interpret group conflict as the stage for individual actions, the more our minds inhibit empathy.
Since it's pride month, here's something that's important to me:
We like to pick labels for ourselves. That's useful, it allows us to describe ourselves to others.
But they're descriptive, not prescriptive. You don't have to color within those lines. If you want to do something that contradicts them, go right the fuck ahead.
You can fall in love with someone "outside" of whatever sexuality label you use for yourself, it's fine. It's not even illegal.
And it doesn't matter if that happened because you changed, or because your image of yourself was incomplete.
You can then update your labels, it's cool. You don't owe anyone consistency. Just be true to yourself.
