Ready for solution based discussion and collaborating with comrades
I know it's hard to not feel defeated and hopeless, but as long as we have breath, there is fight. #TheEmpiresMustFall
What if, I don't know, we never used razor wire at all, let alone hide it in rivers?

There is no economic growth on a dead planet.

Pass it on.

@Montaagge Roy has become my TV hero time zen master, his revelations are as brilliant as the glimpses of his perspective. I would drink a beer with Roy any damn day of the week
The people need a movement
not a new party
not a new protest rally
We need a movement
a space we can gather collectively and focus our efforts in the advancement of us
and formulate
and establish our path to a better future for us
Our expression may take the form of protests and rallies
or political involvement
or a new way of doing business
or a fresh perspective on our handling of knowledge and information
But none of this will happen effectively
until we have a movement
a space for us to do like WE do
for the all of us
instead of at the direction and benefit of an undeserving few

During the George Floyd Protests I sat down & began creating a roadmap to transition our way of life to something better.

The attached flyer is a summary, but theres plenty more where that came from.

Feel free to ask me anything. Just remember we are already capable of all these innovations, & most are being done in some capacity somewhere in the World, right now.

In true American capitalist form, trying to remedy a 15% dip in sales, my employer decided to extend expiration dates on products from 2 days to 4 because somehow they believe people will be inspired by eating stale food to buy more of it. Today I showed them a moldy item a day earlier than the expiration date and their answer is to add mold inhibitors to the recipe. This is sold as a fresh and organic product but rather than drop the expiration date back to 2 days they want to change the recipe for a solution that is ultimately going to make their problem worse. Now, they could dial in product consistency, adjust order numbers to ensure consumers purchase fresh product, and/or follow an appropriate expiration date for the sake of liability as well as product quality. Instead they put additives in an "organic" product and overstock shelves with it at a premium price.
We need to find a better way to conduct business...
@rbreich how about we shift our focus from economic growth in perpetuity and start looking at sustainability?
@AtomicCowbell I'm in, sounds like a great time
@DaveHansen I'm more of a "hey I've got a shovel, let's help this along" kinda guy lol 😂
