Something I dont get with the Google and Meta layoffs. They are cash rich and are employing the best engineers there are. Lack of vision (can’t think of anything productive to do with all these ressources) or just business mismanagement?
Listened to a podcast yesterday, 2 vcs talking about AI! Future is a world where we’ll be swamped with non original duplicative ai generated content that other ai rank. Again I’ll buy this when it’s solves global problems for poor people. Chatbots aint it.
To my fellow software devs, reviewing someone else’s code is a skill. It’s magical when done right and can be a miserable experience when the reviewer is an asshole. I dont do assholes.
