This one has been on the wip pile for a long old time and it's been started and stopped many times as I get new ideas and run out of ideas... Maybe it will never get to a point where I feel its working...
Initially it was just wet and needle felted. Then I added embroidery to give more definition to the rocks. Most recently I added organza over the water... still thinking about it...

I made a rabbit! It’s my first #felted stuffed animal. The body is wet felted all in one piece, and the details are needle felted.

One from the archives... I was reminded of it today because the day felt very similar. Warm in the sun, cold in the shade, lovely big billowing clouds on the horizon and the daffodils finally coming out to play.

Vor einigen Monaten habe ich das Nadelfilzen ausprobiert und mich dabei natüüürlich an einem Drachen probiert :)
Ich dachte, ich zeig euch mal den :)
Sind Prototyp-Häschen Protohäschen?
Wie dem auch sei - die sind frisch aus der Form (Keksform als Schablone) gehüpft.
Da müssen mehr Farben her, eindeutig. Ich hab da noch bunte Fasern im Vorrat...
Und ich hab auch noch grössere und kleinere Förmchen.
Die Wolle ist von unseren eigenen Schafen, selber verarbeitet.
