Project Hail Mary was amaze amaze amaze! It's such a tender story. 🥹 I think they did a wonderful job adapting the book.

@brennan I’m embarrassed by how far I got into this before realizing it was an April Fools joke.

In my defense, my RSS reader hid the more overt signs and also it was really early in the morning, and I had not recognized that it was April 1st. 😂

@st3phvee I discovered your website and blog this past week and really enjoyed reading it!

@tris sorry — one more question about your use of VirtFolder. I notice you can assign more than one parent per note.

Do you ever do this? I can see it as being a nice solution when it feels like a note could reasonably be filed in two places.

Or are you strict about each note having only one parent?

@tris this is all true and great things to consider. I think I’ll keep with virt-folder for now. I also love how simple and easy it is to use.

Thanks again for the rec! It was a great video and I look forward to the next!

With the manual Folgezettel method, I found myself being too precious about my numbering convention -- I wanted to reserve "important" topics for early numbers.

I know that goes against the ethos of the method, yet I kept experiencing that feeling.

Trying to decide whether to use Folgezettel with my #Zettelkasten. I like how it creates a bottom-up order/structure within my files.

I was doing it, but recently switched to the VirtFolder plugin after watching @tris's recent video. It's great and accomplishes the same thing.

But I worry about relying on a plugin to make meaning out of my notes. 🤔

This is a beautiful read. I *am* tired. 😭

@hyde @gregmignard it seems like Zak’s blog link is broken. 🤔
It's so satisfying to add notes to my #zettelkasten and watch its growth in the graph view of #obsidian.
