Lets look at sessions as an example.
By default most browsers do not really use sessions. When you exit, you start with an empty browser window the next time.
Using the desktop metaphor, this is similar to someone throwing away everything on your desk when you leave.
Basically groundhog day.
Vivaldi on the other hand starts by default where you left off.
Then we added the capability to save sessions and reload them. Kind of like having multiple desks with different focus, which you can return to.
Now we added the sessions panel, which was very much a requested feature.
With the sessions panel you get automatic backups, meaning you can go back to a session from a day ago, and you get the ability to edit sessions without opening them.
Some may not need this, but the point is that if YOU need it, it is there for you.
If you are spending a lot of time in your browser, you need a browser that has you covered. We try to do that for you.
