@caseyliss Noticed an odd thing with dates for Lion King 1 1/2 in Callsheet just now. Haven’t yet had a chance to dig in to where that 2012 date being pulled in from for that detailed view. Perhaps some kind of home release?

Love the app and I keep recommending it to people. Happy to submit this info some other way if it would be preferable.

If you're on macOS, slightly techy, and want a very easy way to download all your Amazon #Kindle books, I can strongly recommend this tool by @treetrum. Uses #BunJS, super fast, even shows progress bars for the downloads!!

(On Feb 26, Amazon will stop allowing ebook downloads through a browser.)

🦠 We program a lot of things in this office but none quite as frustrating as our new sinks. yes, sinks.

the sink settings (!) are set with an infrared remote, which you have to place in front of the faucet IR sensor — virtually guaranteeing it immediately gets drenched in a spray of water. anywayyyy

@overcastfm Really loving the new stats (and the 48 hour history!). And very happy to pay the increased price at renewal. It's long overdue!

I'm curious though: Other stats look about right, but I'm pretty confident I didn't listen to Doctor Who Flashcast for 123 hours this year. Maybe a bug in logging at some point where pauses got tracked as playtime? 🧐 I do love listening to @ThatChipGuy and @jsnell talk about Doctor Who, but I'd probably bail if they were doing 10+ hours per episode. 😅

- Do you play any musical instruments?
- I play the Unicode.
- Huh? The Unicode? What's that?
- It's a kind of string instrument.

So, I wrote a paper, I'm sure it'll be accepted in Nature.

@halide 2 questions:

1. I grew to really love Halide’s "macro" mode on my iPhone 13 mini. Loved that you made it for those of us without Apple's macro support. On iPhones w/ Apple's macro mode (e.g. my new iPhone 16 Pro) is Halide's macro processing still happening, just with the new lens?

2. Process Zero + macro on iPhone 16 Pro: Everything looks as I would expect in the viewfinder, but once a picture is taken the saved image seems to be a fully zoomed out wide angle shot. Bug or intentional?

@HollyGoDarkly Listening to Random Pursuit bootleg while on a run just now and burst out laughing.

That story about your mom in Milwaukee and the anthem? I grew up here in Atlanta and tell the same story about myself as a kid. 🇺🇸⚾️

1000 richest people are approched. "The end of the world is here. Time to go to your doomsday bunker", they are told. The billionaires nodded. They knew this was coming. They were prepared.

So they gathered their loved ones and locked themselves in luxury bunkers. No contact to outside world.

10 years later they emerge. The world has healed. The air is breathable, people are happy. "What was the catastrophy?" they ask the first person they meet.

She screams: "THEY GOT OUT!!!"
