Starfield making me want to draw spaceships. Yesterday's sketch
@pentup Godot has some cool built-in features that let you expand and invert a standard shader, and also do multiple shader passes, so doing the inverted hull method requires a little setup but is also kind of a Godot feature
@jupiter There are several different lights in the scene -- some which cast shadows and some that don't -- in the case of the lights for the fire I kept the light range low so that they just barely illuminate the front of character and used bigger "flatter" lights to fill in the rest of the scene
