@geerlingguy A lot of people I have mentioned to that the RPI5 line up comes with a RP1 microchip on board have been surprised.
So was I when I found out because my device tree overlays where no longer working.

I can also tell there is a driver in the rpi kernel that uses the RP1 to control WS2812 leds 🌈

@charlieb yeah it is insane. I saw the video where the citizen initiative to protect our right to privacy was discussed in palement and the way Hummelgaard twisted it to being about something it wasn't makes me furious.

"If you're not on board with AI you're going to get left behind"

Boost if you'd like to be left behind and would consider paying extra for a life without this bullshit.

###
3k boost edit: everyone who said a variant of "why should I pay" is right, but the world is wrong.

Peter Hummelgaard also wants to give the Danish police almost unrestricted access to data on Danes.
And in my experience as a Dane most of us really do not like him for it.

I love current electronic components

@Daojoan today's battery tech could easily keep a phone from a few years ago alive for more than a day. But the chips in our phones has also become more powerful and hence more power hungry.
Why are all these new and for most useless AI tools forced onto our phones? Because it looks like progress to investors and it draws power from your battery. Causing you to drain it faster meaning having to charge more often and then having to replace the battery if not the whole phone earlier.
@cmconseils I thought it was driving around with sputnik.
