Got first MyShake app warning about 6.3 magnitude #earthquake in Humboldt County but didn’t feel it in #bayarea. That’s about 200 miles away. That’s a big one. Hope everyone is OK.
1. I appreciate the research done and Insider’s detailed analysis on the possibility that three distinct #baseballs were used in 2022.
2. I don’t trust #MLB on this.
3. I’d like expects to weigh in on whether Insider’s analysis has holes and whether the research is statistically significant given the sample size and how the balls were obtained and tested.
4. “Goldilocks.” Very nicely done.

@DocTellMeMore Regarding the shortstops, the #Cubs could outbid others and all four could go elsewhere because they want to win now. The Cubs may need to do the Hoerner and Happ extensions and sign an SP like Bassitt (Rodon even better) before any of those SSs would be willing.

Mastodon MigrationAn Incredible Day In Internet History
It started with the Twitter lockout. 10,000 new users per hour. A QUARTER MILLION people migrated to Mastodon in one day. The servers struggled. Remarkably, admins all over the world built up capacity in real time. New users were patient. The system held.
It's running better now. There will be more hard days ahead, but people powered social media has arrived.
@daveahlman @BCB_Sara Agree that this analysis rocks! A lot to absorb here. And I can't help but think that whatever we figure the #Cubs need in 2023, add 10% since the new #MLB balanced schedule means we don't get to beat up on weak division rivals as much.
