Ngl, I thought the “smart island” feature on the iPhone 14 Pro was a gimmick. It actually really makes displaying timers and currently playing media (including the Apple TV!) really smooth. I’m impressed.

I am once again baffled by how loud babies can be when they eat.
I still occasionally browse twitter logged out, to see if specific people I follow have migrated. I noticed that two features either broke, or are working inconsistently:
1. The highlighting of usernames and turning them into links
2. The popup modal that asks you to login or signup if you view too many tweets logged out.

mcneelyTo this extent I'm really interested to know how the age breakdown of people on the #Fediverse. On one hand it would seem to make sense to me that most people here remember the "old internet" before the centralization and they're here to rekindle that flame of independence. On the other hand the youths are generally pretty up on this whole technology thing. I grew up on the internet and since then smartphones have become even more ubiquitous.
