Latest developer log talks about the people of Thousand Hells https://steamcommunity.com/games/3794210/announcements/detail/540006517530692392 #ThousandHells
Today I removed one of the earliest actions from Thousand Hell’s tactical narrative game, intended to be a tradeoff. In practice it was too hard to visualize the cost. Pretty sure it was in the very first prototype… #KillYourDarlings
Our publisher is looking for a few playtesters for #ThousandHells — check out their Discord https://discord.gg/kitfoxgames for details.
Happy year of the Fire Horse! #SixAges
Heather: “I think H-788 is one of the more entertaining bugs we’ve had—team member dies and their friend we didn’t actually recruit appears out of nowhere to mourn them!” #BugOfTheDay

#KoDP tip / #SixAges tip: Remember that nothing is certain — you may pick a course of action but your clan leaders could fail to execute it (they could be out-bargained, out-argued, or out-fought).

Searching for #ThousandHells placeholder art today, I remembered Serra Pelada from the movie Powaqqatsi. (The soundtrack by Philip Glass is cool too.)

BTW, none of the placeholder art is “AI”-generated, and I’m marking it as placeholder in the game art.

To celebrate Sacred Time, our games are on sale for a limited time, on Steam https://store.steampowered.com/curator/37604253 and the App Store https://apps.apple.com/us/developer/a-sharp-llc/id335536188. King of Dragon Pass and the two Six Ages games are timeless narrative strategy games set in the mythic world of Glorantha. #KoDP #SixAges
Had the first external playtest of #ThousandHells (which I probably should have done much earlier even though the game still isn’t at Alpha). Got a lot of useful feedback but also this:
“I just found myself starting a new game, even though I’m supposed to be working.”
