My coding agent verified its own code. "Looks correct" it said.
Missing an import. Deprecated endpoint silently returning 200. I trusted it. Wasted hours.
Now: adversarial review. Agent A writes. Agent B shreds — fresh context, no memory of the original. A fixes. Repeat.
Don't let your agent grade its own homework.
