Every once in a while I'll hop on the #birdsite out of habit. And I always have to leave because I get so angry or scared of the vitriol. I swear it gets scarier every day.
The #techindustry is weird. Sometimes I can work overtime for a week and have no one notice my effort or be impressed.
And sometimes I fuck off all day and answer one slack message, only to have that person rave about how hard I work and how helpful I am.

So today will be spent trying to jam things into my uncooperative brain... At least I had switched to Concerta before this. Paying attention would be even more difficult with this Adderall shortage.
I woke up to screaming chickens, bolted out of bed and ran outside without my classes. Either an owl or a freakishly fluffy hawk was trying to get into my chicken coop!
My girls aren't getting yard time today lol.
Wait. Could I write a seasonal/holiday themed novella and publish it before Christmas I wonder....

I may... have accidentally applied for a lateral promotion? And got an interview?
...look. I thought I was just asking questions out of curiosity. Apparently the HR person took that as a verbal application and now I've been pushed past a whole level of interviews straight to the supervisor interview?

I always feel like I'm the odd one out when my coworkers complain about college. To me it made sense most of the time, barring a few professors on a power trip. Might be the only time in my life I felt like I had everything under control. I want to get a Master's in something #computerscience related, but I'm not sure what yet.
Caro KinkeadDoesn't have to be explosions. Think about tense arguments at family gatherings, how harsh the conflict, and how high the stakes appear.
