Bill FellowsThere is no reason to record timezones in your database. Record everything in local time zone is an excellent architectural decision.
I can't imagine a single scenario where you would need to factor in different timezones. Even if your business is say long distance taxi services, I mean what are the odds you'll ever cross a boundary servicing clients.
