Statement from the Society for Palestinian Archaeology, in English and Arabic, in response to the statement released by WAC.

The statement notes the impact and losses of heritage in Gaza and the attempted acquisition of archaeological sites in the West Bank alongside the intense human suffering.

This is particularly noteworthy given the top-down, weak, ill-informed or downright outrageous statements from other #archaeology orgs.
