carohello~~ working on organizing my personal digital archive. looking for resources or thoughts on file management particularly for decades worth of photos, documents, and personal digital projects (collage, video etc). what logic do you follow for your folders? do you think your logic is / could be legible to others? if you re-started your folder hierarchy from scratch, what might you do differently?
currently working with a docs/photos dichotomy at the very top level, then largely by year within those. but it gets messy from there.
