@RickiTarr This. There was no "red wave". 2020 was a blue wave. This is back to normal, and right now normal looks scary because those 81 million red voters aren't going to go away.

The DNC needs to clean up its act and figure out how to engage with people again. This loss is almost 100% on the DNC. Their message was weak, they targeted the wrong voters again (just like with Hillary), and they decided to NOT give their voters a choice.

It's not on us to vote for you. It's on you to earn it.

@randahl The EU needs to remember that the US is bipolar and we can flip from manic to depressed every 2-4 years or so.

Why anyone would trust us to lead is a mystery.

@mathowie There are a lot of people who see "slavery" and just think "punishment". They think that because you put yourself in prison you shouldn't have any rights.

They all miss the fact that how and why you can "put yourself in prison" can and is generally a moving target controlled by people you might not always agree with.

They never think that *they* might one day find themselves in the position they so righteously support abusing while on the outside.
