@stargazersmith I love my Dob, I have eased travel a bit by having a hand dolly cart. When separated the barrel weighs about 30 lbs and the base is about 35 lbs. Then I just assemble and roll Matilda out to where I want her. I must admit carrying her when I first got her in 2023 was back breaking for me! 🤪
This one folds down into a small flat object that takes less space when traveling. I would suggest getting one with larger wheels for going up stairs to a porch or observation deck though.
@stargazersmith You might as well be hunting for a needle in a pack of needles. 🤣 Hope this gave you the view you wanted. If I have clear skies again this week I will try to capture Petavius with the 2.5mm.

Can you remind me again of your telescope's size?
You labeled a number of lunar features in this video. I wonder if you've ever seen crater Petavius at early new moon? It would show well in your telescope. It's a large crater of a bit over 100 mi, and at new moon has a noticeable spoke radiating from the mountains at its center.
