Embedded systems engineer for hire. Hardware, software, HDL. When not working I'm devoting the rest of my time to my kids and their curiosities. GPG EAF7ACB0
@MLE_online I’ve been y’alling since I moved to Irvine. It’s a great contraction. Definitely better than the Pittsburgian y’ins.
This has been my job a lot recently. :-(
@RueNahcMohr @MLE_online why wouldn’t you use 0? It’s perfectly valid in a lot of cases.
Solving the "Is it data or code" argument by forcing Crowdstrike to port Falcon to a Harvard architecture CPU
@RueNahcMohr if you can get 2HP out of that motor I’ll be seriously impressed.
@markotway if I wanted to use a Roku TV to display images from an album like a screensaver, is there a Roku app you’re aware of which can access a @Damselfly server to grab random images in an album or matching a tag?
@thomasfuchs user-someidentifier@domain is what I’ve been using for over a decade. Works great and when the company inevitably sells my email address I can block them without affecting other email to the same email user.
@azonenberg @RoganDawes @funkylab you could always attach a PHY to the ESP32 and ignore the radio.
@de @azonenberg I have one of these! Haven’t used it in forever, should probably eBay it.

Consider celebrating #Metric Day on September 23 this year. It'll be the 25 anniversary of the NASA Mars Climate Orbiter slamming into the planet because one contractor (Lockheed Martin) disregarded NASA spec and calibrated a sensor in lbf instead of N.

This was a US $327.6 million project. This is the only image of Mars that the probe produced, taken at over 4 million kilometres away from the planet. The 576 non-zero pixels effectively cost $568,750 each.
