Welp, the 2-day trip to Toronto was something, heh.

BUT! I got to experience business class train travel which was lovely.

Got to meet up with @markwoman & Ashley (❤️❤️❤️) for high tea at the Clockwork Toronto which was FABULOUS!

Def go if you ever have a chance!

The Clockwork also did their best to accommodate my diabetes with 1 day's notice & HOLY SHIT were they good about it. I still feel bad each time I ask but nope, they were GREAT! :)

Added cheers to our waiter at the Library Bar who also made sure my coke was diet! <3

Me, finding out today that #Starbucks will substitute any sugar in their ice teas for splenda/stevia & all I need to do is ask...

(I asked for 1 pump of sugar for a matcha lemonade bc diabetes at drivethru & peep at the window v. earnestly told me about non-sugar options. ❤️)

It's obvious in hindsight, but it never occured to me to ask because I don't like bothering folx? And I felt asking for less sugar was already a lot?

The lovely person at the window after was SO SO determined to let me know I had safe options and I am still charmed. 😄

I've always been fascinated by heterochromia (when someone's eyes are different colors).

....and all this time I had NO Idea that my eye color is actually a variant mutation called central heterochromia. (My eyes are 2 colors, blue on the outside and yellow around the pupil.)

For some reason, images on Mastodon work fine on the home computer but not on the work computer. Maybe some level of blocking going on? I don't think it's a browser issue, I am using the same one...
