Supposedly human, who enjoys human things. I also enjoy video games and tabletop RPGs. Regarding the latter, I mostly play 5e these days but like to squeeze in other stuff like Mothership, Dungeon Crawl Classics, and Fiasco when I get the chance.
Is this thing even on?

Glass Onion + Groundhog's Day = Deathloop

@Gwendolyn

I used to ponder on this before too, but then I realized how many of my socks have gone missing

@Gwendolyn

I always liked Unreal Tournament better than the 2k line. It's been a while since I touched either one and I completely forgot about the taunts.

Honestly, the taunts were already tedious back in the day. I get that they were trying to simulate actual human opponents, lumps and all, but I also remember kicking people out of my games when they were toxic, so maybe the wrong part of the "faux human" experience to include.

I had ROE2 on floppy disks way back when. Literal child me could not figure out how to play it, but it always seemed like an amazing game hiding behind a terrible interface I wasn't smart enough to figure out.

I was never able to track down a copy of Breach2 which is what RoE2 interfaced with.

I've never seen another game that was quite like ROE though.

They never seem to worry about what God has to say about idolators and people committing performative acts of piety though.

If you are making a turn-based rpg with tactical combat and include exploding enemies that on the first turn can get from the edge of the map where they appear, into the center of my party where they immediately explode without giving me any opportunity to interrupt or stop them from shaving half to two thirds of my entire party's HP pool I will find out where you live and make you pay.

So all those NES and SNES games that claimed their batteries were good for about 5 years? Lies.

I still have my original SNES, GBA, and Gameboy carts from 30+ years ago, and I have had only one battery fail (Chrono Trigger) in the whole lot.

Digging Wasteland 3 right now a lot more than I expected I would. It's keeping me away from Dead Space which I also enjoyed before getting sidetracked.

Also got my Analogue Pocket a couple weeks ago and I have been revisiting some of my old ass GB/GBA games. Been working my way through Oracle of Ages (which I never finished when I bought it.... uh 20 years ago? Damn) as I get ready to go to bed each night. It is better than I remember it being.

When passing close to Earth, it is advised to roll up your windows, ignore any hitchhikers you see, and never stop or get out of your ship.
