Glass Onion + Groundhog's Day = Deathloop
If you are making a turn-based rpg with tactical combat and include exploding enemies that on the first turn can get from the edge of the map where they appear, into the center of my party where they immediately explode without giving me any opportunity to interrupt or stop them from shaving half to two thirds of my entire party's HP pool I will find out where you live and make you pay.
So all those NES and SNES games that claimed their batteries were good for about 5 years? Lies.
I still have my original SNES, GBA, and Gameboy carts from 30+ years ago, and I have had only one battery fail (Chrono Trigger) in the whole lot.
Digging Wasteland 3 right now a lot more than I expected I would. It's keeping me away from Dead Space which I also enjoyed before getting sidetracked.
Also got my Analogue Pocket a couple weeks ago and I have been revisiting some of my old ass GB/GBA games. Been working my way through Oracle of Ages (which I never finished when I bought it.... uh 20 years ago? Damn) as I get ready to go to bed each night. It is better than I remember it being.
Spent the last couple days revisiting Bioshock 1 and 2. Mostly enjoyed them. I continue to be firm on the stance that the second game is much more fun to actually play even if the first is narratively better.
In Bioshock 2, you can see the beginning of things that Arkane would carry forward into their later (fantastic) games Dishonored 1&2 and Prey.
If you can believe it, this picture of the Paris Catacombs was taken in the 1860s. Can you imagine how hard it would have been to get down there and take photos (and find your way out again) without electricity? The photographer was Félix Nadar (see reply below).
If you’re interested in the history of the catacombs, we talk about it in Episode 18 of the Dirty Sexy History podcast.

Just finished another run of La Mulana 2 and I again have to fight the urge to go back and start it (or the first game) again.
What a fantastic game
