The Art Institute also has some beautiful Japanese sculptures on permanent display as well.

One of the things I love about living in #Chicago is The Art Institute. They have a great selection of #Buddhist sculptures (among other fine examples of South and Southeast Asian religious art).

I had the chance to sit at the Seattle Japanese Garden. Such a beautiful, tranquil setting! I highly recommend visiting if you find yourself in the area.
