@coloradotravis Unfortunately, The Realization only works if you have an area of expertise in which you know more than Musk and can tell he's just spouting BS. Most people don't.

@coloradotravis the sad part is society has been through this playbook time and time again, yet people in aggregate never learn the lesson.
@coloradotravis I had a similar observation a few years back about automated processes. If you automate something >95%, users will stop paying attention and just assume the automation works, so relying on a human verifying what the computer does is futile.
If you have a way of telling it might be wrong, you have to put it into a separate escalation process rather than the regular process, adding a lot of friction, to make users pay attention
