So apparently #elonmusk has reinstated tr*mp to #twitter . It was always going to happen and I’m glad I’m out of that cesspool. Musk is desperate to generate traffic on the site.
@switch that’s a good point. Personally I never really considered texts as a phone function. It was just another messaging platform (the original for mobiles). I still think of the voice calling as the bit that makes it a “phone” and the rest are apps. I think now though the phone part has been relegated to an app and the device isn’t a “phone” any more. I think it’s time for a new classification!

I’m curious. How many people actually use their phones AS phones? I bet I spend less than 10 mins a month using the phone “app”. I bet there’s a good argument for rebranding these devices as actual personal computers rather than smart phones. So the question, how often do you use the phone part of your phone?
