@JulieNye Noticed “retired service dog trainer” in your bio. My husband used to walk a Golden Retriever who was a service dog. Her owner also had cerebral palsy in addition to being blind. When we moved to another state, the owner would call us at times and say that when she said my husband’s name, the dog would whimper. She missed him!

Well, I have joined the #type2diabetes community. This week I went to a nutrition class and discovered that there are other carbs besides breads and grains.
On the other hand, #PresidentBiden has joined MY community; the millions with sleep apnea. The media are acting like this is headline news. My response: So? I have a CPAP and so does my BFF. Your point is? #sleepapnea #cpap
I need help, #Writingcommunity. What do you do when you’ve lost the writing? I’m stuck on the novel in progress. Also have a part-time job I need to pay back debt, an autistic son who’s pouting about going to work, and a messy house I can’t get a handle on, plus physical and mental issues. I cannot make a regular schedule to save my life because EVERY TIME I get something on paper, something happens to blow it to bits!!
Why do I have this feeling that we will go right up to the edge of the #default cliff and then get pulled back at the very last minute? I’m the wife of a gov’t employee and have seen this happen too many times with “gov’t shutdown” threats.
I had forgotten until today that today marks three significant anniversaries for me:
1. My sister’s 23rd wedding anniversary.
2. My son’s 21st anniversary of being diagnosed with autism.
3. My son’s 2nd anniversary of his “age-out” ceremony from his public school vocational program.
