@sdw @halide This is beautiful! Where in Utah is this? (I took a road trip with my husband and son several years ago out West, and when we drove through Kanab, I saw a sign posted that said, we have colors they don’t have names for in Kanab. And they were right.
Happy birthday, America!
@JulieLiddellWhitehead I’m sort of there myself. I do take my meds and see a psychologist once a month, and I have friends I vent to; but sometimes I end up turning to the Internet for support.
@JulieLiddellWhitehead Not bipolar but do deal with #depression, #anxiety, and #OCD; plus have an adult #autistic son.
@JulieNye Noticed “retired service dog trainer” in your bio. My husband used to walk a Golden Retriever who was a service dog. Her owner also had cerebral palsy in addition to being blind. When we moved to another state, the owner would call us at times and say that when she said my husband’s name, the dog would whimper. She missed him!
@pearlbear I take it it’s the gray/black area that’s the wet bulb temperature? I live in Atlanta and I’m not too far from there. My area is red!
@Woedenaz @pearlbear I’m from the United States. I had to read that sentence twice before I remembered that 55 degrees Centigrade is equal to WAY OVER 100 degrees Farenheit. Yes, it is terrifying!!

So tomorrow, the NWS forecasts wet bulb temperatures in parts of the US are so high, that people will die if they aren't in air-conditioning. You can't really do anything in wet bulb temps above 90F, and you die in wet bulb temps above 95F.

And it's only June!
