Pixelfed pilgrimage is a 1p1pRPG (one player, one page role-play game) designed to be played on Pixelfed. The idea was born out of frustration that not much was happening on Pixelfed and therefore find a playful way to make people engage with it and fill it with creative content. Because Pixelfed is best used on the phone, my game is more phone screen sized than one A4 page but I think it still falls into the category of one page games.

Last month I had the pleasure to collaborate with seven other fantastic artists to create a happening titled The invitation says from 7-9 I’m never doing this again. We were inspired by the Queen of the Night (Epiphyllum oxypetalum), a cactus which only blooms once a year for one night, more of an event than a flower. And so we created an ephemeral place, attempting to cater to all senses, blending a soirée with an art show. Images can only convey a glimpse of what happened ✨🪷

This gathering honors both the intimacy of domestic space and the expansive reach of artistic practice, reminding us that meaning is often found in what resists permanence, in what is experienced, shared, and then carried forward in memory.

Preparation for the opening ceremony for the Hallo Festspiele 2025. I made 55 whistles which got a second firing in a fire ton together with Paula Erstmann’s beautiful cups. The outcome are beautiful ash markings! Paula is part of the collective Bündnis Feuer und Flamme and does wonderful things with food, ceramics and fire.
