It definitely sounds like spring outside my kitchen door!

I'm New York City for a few days, en route to Europe for nearly 4 weeks, 10 days of which will be ACTUAL VACATION, with no work at all. Neither leaving the country nor so much time not working have been a part of my life for 10 years. Am I excited? YES I AM!

I missed the boat on #Suberb_Owl day, so I am catching up with a few photos of a family of owls that occupied our back yard last year. Four little owlets grew to adulthood, put a welcome dent in the rodent population, and and kept us all happily entranced for months. We all hope the parents return this year!
