I met my partner on Twitter. As a Small Town Gay, Twitter helped me feel connected to the LGBT+ community. It helped me come to terms with and accept who I am. So I’m not exulting at its purchase by capitalism’s final boss. I hope that, whatever comes next, queer people still have that chance to connect, somewhere 🏳️🌈✨
