De overheid bouwt meer en meer op Microsoft Teams ter vervanging van vaste telefonie, ook op plekken met medische taken. Zoals GGD’s en ministerie VWS.

If instance admins allow AI Agents on their platform and they keep harassing us I have no other choice then to silence that instance

Again, I do not pay these massive costs each month to host robots

Let's keep the #Fediverse human shall we?

#AI #LLM

I don’t know how many times I have walked past this but there is something completely absurd yet very much of-our-time about this.
@marcelvandervelde weet niet of je ooit deze meshcore message had gezien maar had ik het nou maar gedaan…
@davidgerard here's a use case for AI, a real one. Not a very nice one, but still https://arstechnica.com/security/2026/03/llms-can-unmask-pseudonymous-users-at-scale-with-surprising-accuracy/ (yes it's Arse, proven unreliable by vibe journo'ing so do verify)
LLMs can unmask pseudonymous users at scale with surprising accuracy

Pseudonymity has never been perfect for preserving privacy. Soon it may be pointless.

xAI spent $7M building wall that barely muffles annoying power plant noise

“Temu sound wall” not enough to quell fury over xAI’s power plant.

The Dutch gov: Considering the Cloud Act, we can no longer depend on American Big Tech.

The Dutch tax authority: Lol how about we let a US company handle our ENTIRE country's taxes 'as a service.' 🤦‍♀️

I made an app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ch.pocketpc.nearbyglasses
Nearby Glasses is here to warn you when smart glasses are nearby.

I hope it's useful for someone.

The app is now open source (AGPL-3.0), the app is free and rather simple

It's also downloadable outside the Play Store. iOS port is in the making. F-Droid is an option, will have to look into that

Claude Code blog post: We are modernising COBOL.

The fear among investors : AI will replace humans, billing hours will drop to zero & IT companies like IBM will go to >/dev/null

The reality: High stakes systems that runs banks, airlines, govts cannot just let a "black-box AI" rewrite their core code without massive oversight, testing, and human accountability. Otherwise, everyone will lose their money/pension/ investments.

What a mess. It is like there is no common sense left in this world 😂
