@slesa you don’t need the bridge to receive mail at all. You only need the bridge if you want to use a different mail client than their own. The bridge handles the encryption that they use

@NanoBookReview I haven’t heard of divx before (but I also haven’t messed with blender’s ffmpeg output much, I usually output frames then convert them to video after)

Try h.264 or h.265 which are newer and more widely used and see if the issue persists.
Also consider outputting frames to a folder then making it a video after. If it is a video encoding issue, this would mean you wouldn’t need to re-render all the frames when trying different encoding settings.

@NanoBookReview what settings are you using for the video?
@KiltedQueer @protonprivacy Read their bio. They left mastodon a while ago due to “limited resources” (but I suspect it’s because of people being increasingly negative to proton on mastodon)
@svenjacobs Yes, but that user id is not available when the data from the oath provider is available.
@svenjacobs hm, when I was testing it, the first request with the oauth data would have one id, then future requests (that would no longer have the oauth data) would have a different one. I was trying to store the external user id from oauth, which is only available during that first login, but it wasn’t possible because the user id changed between the oauth data being available and it not
@svenjacobs all of which is inaccessible because the user id is randomized for each request. Any information stored is not able to be retrieved because the ID is changed
@svenjacobs do people actually use Auth.js? Last time I experimented with it, it was actually not possible to store simple things like what outh provider was used to log in, and user ids from the oauth provider. Seems to defeat the main purpose of oauth if you can’t tell who is logging in

I'm trying Svelte5 and runes for quite a while now (6 Months+) and I really really REALLY miss Svelte4. Gone are all the lightness and flow. I'm struggling hard to get things working that were only a question of minutes with Svelte4. It has lost its 'special' character and now is just "one of those frameworks" for me.
I miss Svelte 4. 😢

#svelte #svelte5

As someone who works in higher-ed and also has taught middle school and high school aged kids, my opinion is not that LLM use is exploding among students because they're lazy or stupid or anything else

it's because our educational system has prioritized a very transactional "do this bullshit, and you get the credentials you need to have a life" approach for

well

maybe forever, really

and no one should be surprised that adversarial approaches by teachers and administrators are being met with an adversarial approach by students
